The Melbourne Racing Club (MRC) is one of Australia's most prestigious Sports, Hospitality, Events, and Property Development companies. As well as running elite horse racing at Caulfield, Ladbrokes Park (Sandown), and Mornington Racecourses, we own 13 pub venues under the Pegasus Leisure Group (PLG), an emerging collection of owned events such as The Peninsula Picnic and the MRC Foundation, our charitable arm.

Based at Caulfield Racecourse, we have a **13-month contract** for a **Digital Marketing Manager** to join the Marketing Team. This role will be responsible for managing the digital marketing strategy, with a focus on delivering leading digital initiatives and exceptional customer experience across all digital touch points.

This is a very exciting time to join the Club as we launch our new brand and tone. As well as leading a team of 2, this role will work on driving awareness of feature race days, non-race days and increasing ticket sales.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage the development and implementation for MRCs content strategy across digital channels including racing, foundation and owned events
- Contribute to strategic recommendations and manage the implementation of MRC’s digital marketing plan across key consumer brands, with a focus on driving commercial outcomes
- Analyse and report on outcomes for all digital marketing activity
- Drive the digital integration of marketing activities and campaigns
- Lead and manage two direct reports, to drive high performance and engagement in line with business and marketing objectives

***Skills & Experience**
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing and/or related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Experience working with relevant digital and social media platforms
- Demonstrated understanding of enterprise software, CMS, Adobe products, SEO, SEM, HTML (ability to read and edit) and analytics platforms
- Understanding of key marketing and design principles
