**About the Company**

Davidson are currently working with a state government client who are seeking an experienced Project Officer.

**About the Role**

This role will be responsible for supporting the effective management of the maintenance and upgrade components of a portfolio of works and will facilitate its smooth and efficient management across the state.
- Provide recommendations for maintenance and upgrade works on a residential portfolio.
- Achieve value for money through a sound understanding of maintenance and upgrades.
- Deliver maintenance and upgrade programs to agreed timeframes, budget, quality standards and client satisfaction.
- Ensure properties are maintained to a consistent standard taking into consideration specifications, Australian standards and statutory requirements.
- Manage property and program expenditure including monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on the financial performance of projects and programs.
- Analyse the differences between quotes and specifications.
- Contribute to the development of responses to correspondence, briefings, reports, and information papers.
- Contribute to the development and review of key policies, guidelines and processes to ensure best practice portfolio asset management is delivered.
- Establish and maintain effective networks of key departmental contacts and with industry representatives.
- Contribute actively as a member of the Asset Management Team.

**About You**
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Have a sound working knowledge of Excel and being efficient in managing, sorting and analysing data by using (but not limited to) pivot tables, look ups and charts.
- Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines and can report on progress and any potential delays or issues.
- Have strong customer and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Have great communication skills, both written and verbal.
