**Your new role**

You will be based in the location of St Lucia Golf Links located 5km from the Brisbane CBD. Although the majority of your work will be accomplished independently, you will be joining a supportive and collaborative team of seven.

Your work requirements will be scheduled as a nine-day fortnight, 6am - 2.57pm Monday - Friday. There will be occasional weekend work and overtime available depending on the needs of the golf course

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Certificate III or above in horticulture or turf management
- possession of an ACDC commercial spray operator’s licence
- golf course experience is desirable
- current first aid certificate and white card, or the ability to obtain these in the first three months
- possession of a valid “C” class drivers’ licence
- demonstrated experience in a leadership role within a maintenance team
- comfortable working alone as well as collaborating in a team
- demonstrated experience or ability to acquire knowledge in the preparation and mowing of a golf course to Australian golf course standards
- experience in using irrigation systems and the ability to acquire an understanding of a golf course irrigation system
- demonstrated competency in the use of a diverse range of gardening and horticultural machinery, tools and equipment.
