Sports Turf Manager, Groundsman, Apprentice. Casual/seasonal greenkeeper.

We are looking for new staff to join our amazing team to help manage and maintain some of Brisbane's best sporting facilities.

About us

Marshall Turf and Landscape is a business based in Brisbane focusing on professional  turf and landscape management. We have developed our core business around sports turf management, currently maintaining over 25 sports fields, a golf course and bowling greens. We pride ourselves on our high end sports turf and landscape management. We also have a landscape maintenance aspect to the business managing multiple sites.

Qualifications & experience

  • Groundsman experience preferred
  • Qualified Horticulturalist / Greenkeeper
  • Certificate III horticulture &/or turf management
  • Driver license is a must. (manual preferred)
  • Sports/lawn enthusiast looking to start in the trade
  • Apprentice Greenkeeper

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Successful applicant will be an integral member of the team helping with the management of sports turf sites.
  • Operating multiple mowers including rotary zero turns and ride on cylinder mowers.
  • Landscape management including all aspects of garden maintenance - hedging, brush cutting, mowing, pruning, weed and pest control
  • Help with our sports turf renovations including scarifying, topdressing, aerating.
  • New lawn preparations and laying
  • Irrigation installations and repairs

We have a number of roles available. We are looking for :

  • Qualified Greenkeeper - will help manage our sports turf sites including golf, bowls and sports fields

  • Groundsman - experience preferred  and will help work within a team working on both sports turf and landscape maintenance sites

  • Entry level groundsman/trades assistant ready to learn the trade working alongside qualified tradesman

  • Apprentice - looking to take on a trade and learn how to manage sports turf facilities.

  • Casual greenkeeper to assist with sports turf renovations and help with daily maintenance of sports facilities.
