An opportunity exists for a Graduate and Project Coordinator (Executive Level 1) to join our Practice Services Team in an ongoing capacity.

This role manages and contributes to the delivery of programs and tasks within the responsibility of the Practice Services team.

**About the team and the role**
The Practice Services team undertakes a diverse range of work to support AGS’s 3 legal practice areas. This includes managing AGS’s outpost practice, pro bono practice, induction and internal training programs, knowledge management framework (including its Legal Opinions Database) the graduate program and a range of corporate projects.

The Graduate and Project Coordinator role reports to the National Manager Library and Practice Services (SES Band 1), and may supervise more junior staff. They work collaboratively and in consultation with the legal practice area National Managers to deliver outcomes relating to the day-to-day operations of the team.

In this role you will:

- plan and coordinate the AGS induction program including the National Practice Orientation program
- coordinate the AGS graduate program from end-to-end and including the ongoing management of AGS graduate recruits once onboarded
- deliver a range of corporate support projects as required, including coordinating updates to AGS’s National Professional Standards
- contribute to the development, review and implementation of business strategies, resources and systems that best support the efficient and effective delivery of services, including the promotion of AGS recruitment
- assist with the coordination of the annual audits in compliance with AGS’s National Professional Standards, including preparing the report for submission to AGS Management Committee.

- demonstrated practical experience working in a legal practice and understanding of the nature of legal work undertaken and
