The participant has **complex needs**, including **Level 3 Autism, non-verbal communication, and seizure episodes**, requiring **highly experienced and emotionally regulated female** support.

We are looking for **skilled, professional, and highly experienced** support workers who can provide **specialized, person-centered care** in a **dynamic, neurodivergent household**. If you do not meet the **essential requirements**, this role will not be suitable.

**About the Role**:
**What We Need From You**:
**Highly experienced** in supporting participants with **autism** and **complex needs**
A deep understanding of **neurodivergence** and the ability to provide respectful, individualized support
Fluent, **clear English communication** (essential for supporting the participant during seizures)**:

- A Certificate IV or higher in Disability**:

- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance**:

- Senior First Aid Certificate** (mandatory for seizure support)**:

- Highly skilled in emotional regulation** in high-pressure situations**:

- Highly experienced** in supporting **non-verbal participants** (highly desirable)
- Ability to work effectively in a **neurodivergent household** that embraces its unique rhythm. Respect for the household’s existing structure - **no unnecessary changes unless requested.**

**-**Comfortable working in a home with an **elderly service dog** (who must remain inside)
**Team player mindset** - willing to collaborate with other **highly skilled providers** to ensure seamless support
- Willingness to participate in **training**, **peer support plans** and **buddy shifts** for a smooth transition

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $33.00 - $66.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 30 per week
