**CSSD Team Leader** **Southern Highlands Private Hospital, Bowral** **Full Time Role** **Take your leadership skills to the next level as part of the Southern Highlands Private Hospital team** **The Opportunity** This role is open to suitably qualified people with experience in a CSSD Team Leader position as well as proven skills in the day-to-day functions and compliance monitoring required in a busy Sterilising Department. The CSSD Team leader will report to the Theatre Manager and will be responsible for oversight of the day-to-day requirements and ensuring compliance with relevant standards in the department. Knowledge of relevant standards and accreditation requirements will be vital to success in this role. **Skills and Experience** You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire, motivate and mentor your team as well as a passion for seeing your team members succeed and grow in their roles. Your attention to detail and skills in providing excellent clinical services will be highly regarded. **Essential**: - Experienced Sterilising Technician with Certificate III in Sterilising Services - Current knowledge of all aspects of Sterilising Services including relevant standards - 3 years minimum experience within the CSSD environment - Previous experience within a team leader / senior staff role - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proven ability to act as a positive role model and inspire your team - Demonstrated ability to nurture and develop team members with potential to advance their career - Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution skills **Desirable**: - Certificate IV in Sterilising Services **What’s in it for you?** **Professional Advancement**: Recognition, Rewards, Professional Development, and Employee referral programs.
