**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- Full Time Fixed Term - 12-month opportunity
- Band 5 Salary: $76,871 per annum plus 11.5% Superannuation
- RDO available
- Hybrid flexible working arrangements

Are you passionate about communication and skilled in creating engaging content? Do you have a flair for marketing, managing social media, and supporting internal communications? If so, we’d love to hear from you

We are looking for a Communications Officer to join our dynamic and supportive team for a 12-month period.

In this varied and rewarding role, you will:

- Write and edit content for media releases, speeches, newsletters, and digital platforms.
- Assist in the development and design of marketing materials and promotional campaigns.
- Bring strong writing skills, creativity, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

Experience in graphic design and/or digital communications is an advantage.

**ABOUT YOU**:
To be successful you will:

- Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Digital or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to write clearly and concisely for a variety of audiences.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proven ability to set goals and manage competing tasks effectively.
- Ability to show initiative and demonstrate sound judgement and political awareness when addressing issues.
- Ability to contribute and play a part in the success of a small high performing team.
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office. Adobe Design experience desirable. Website content experience desirable.
