The roleYou will assess and triage requests for insurance advice and use information in relation to emerging commercial insurance market trends to develop strategic and operational plans relevant to Queensland Health and its associated providers.
You will lead large, complex projects while managing the preparation and provision of expert technical advice and correspondence. This will also include managing client expectations and interactions through the development and management of associated communication strategies and plans.
This position plays a key role in building, maintaining and managing strategic networks and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at a senior level by representing Queensland Health on high level committees and working groups.
Additionally, managing your team, you will monitor and assess performance while implementing performance and development strategies to assist in developing and maintaining high performing and committed staff.
**The successful personYou will have demonstrated**:
- Highly developed analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in monitoring of emerging commercial insurance market trends, and incorporating this trend analysis into advice, reports and submissions so that the Insurance Services team continues to provide contemporaneous and high quality advice.
- Proven ability to communicate and negotiate confidently, anticipating stakeholder's expectations and concerns, presenting persuasive arguments and messages in a clear, concise and articulate manner.
