Aruma is seeking a Quality, Systems, and Accreditation Coordinator for Supported Employment Services to lead the effective implementation of quality standards, safeguards, policies, and procedures. This role involves overseeing audit and accreditation processes, partnering with Business Managers to ensure compliance and maintain standards, and supporting the continuity of service for our NDIS and commercial customers. Additionally, the Coordinator will support strategic initiatives within Aruma’s Supported Employment Services Portfolio and serve as a key contact for all quality and compliance matters, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders as part of the Supported Employment Management Team.
**A day in the life of a Quality, Systems and Accreditation Coordinator, Employment**
- Work with internal stakeholders to prepare for audit and accreditation activities.
- Coordinate accreditation activities, maintaining quality standards through collaboration.
- Support the establishment and implementation of Quality Management and Operational Systems.
- Build networks through effective communication and collaboration.
- Collaborate to develop new employment pathways for people with disabilities.
- Support annual reviews, audits, and legislative obligations.
- Lead change and continuous improvement programs.
- Assist with policy writing and review for compliance.
- Act as a change agent, promoting best practices.
- Provide feedback and consults on workplace changes.
- Draft reports on sensitive issues and escalates as needed.
- Acquire knowledge in compliance standards to meet accreditation.
- Train staff to become experts in Quality Systems and Accreditation.
- Coordinate accreditation and quality projects.
- Prepare and submit progress updates and escalate risks.
**What you need to be successful in this role**
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field is desirable.
- Knowledge of NDIS Standards and accreditation processes, or willingness to learn.
- Understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme and NDIS Quality & Safeguards Practice Standards, or willingness to learn.
- Skilled in influencing, relationship building, and stakeholder management.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including negotiation and report creation.
- Experience in providing decision-making insights and presentations to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to navigate a complex organisation and manage through influence.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail; ability to work independently and prioritise.
- Current Australian driver’s license with a good driving record and ability to travel.
