**Your new role**:
The Executive Assistant provides high-level executive and administrative support to the Director, acting as the key point of coordination within the directorate. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office through proactive diary management, stakeholder liaison, preparation of reports and correspondence, and coordination of meetings and projects.
**Duties of the role will include but not limit to**:
- Provide executive support to the Economy, Business & Workforce Directorate including diary and workflow management, complex research, public relations and media requests.
- Coordinate research and prepare complex reports, correspondence, memorandums, presentations and speeches for the Directorate, maintaining quality control throughout all documentation.
- Coordinate Council Reports and Business Papers for the Division, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Organisation, preparation and administrative management of meetings, events and workshops.
**What you will need to succeed**:
- Business administration qualifications relevant to the role.
- Proven experience providing high-level executive or administrative support in a complex organisation.
- Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality and time management skills.
- Strong written communication and document preparation capabilities.
- Confidence in engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using corporate systems and processes.
