The Manager, Social Value and Inclusion will be responsible for leading policy development to help generate community acceptance of and support for Victoria's future Renewable Energy Zones (REZs). The position will be responsible for developing ‘place-based' policy and programs deliver benefits to commmunities and Traditional Owners under the Victorian Transmission Investment Framework (VTIF).

What you will deliver

Develop and present expert policy, strategic, and authoritative advice, and documentation, briefings, correspondence, submissions and reports to articulate social value concepts for a range of audiences including Ministers, departmental executives, and stakeholders.
- Lead the development and implementation of ‘place-based' policy and program design to recognise the role that host communities and landholders play in supporting REZs through delivering positive social outcomes.
- Manage complex and time-critical projects, recognising barriers and developing effective solutions to deal with them. Actively managing risks and working with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of tasks.
- Lead social value discussions with VicGrid and government stakeholders, consultants, AEMO, communities, Traditional Owners, network service providers (NSPs) and other industry representatives.

What you will bring
- Your demonstrated leadership and collaborative working style.
- An understanding of government, public policy, legislative and parliamentary processes.
- A track record of delivering outcomes in challenging and complex policy, regulatory and/or technical environments with government and non-government stakeholders.
- An appropriate tertiary qualification in social policy or similar field.
