My Supports is a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) registered disability service provider founded and led by people with a disability. My Supports provides services to almost 2,000 clients across Australia.
The My Supports Team Leader will provide regular My Supports disability services (such as core supports and capacity building).
My Supports is looking for a Team Leader located within in the Penrith, New South Wales region with relevant experience in the NDIS and finding housing solutions for people with a disability. The position is a full time fixed term contract role covering maternity leave. **The contract will conclude 12 months from the start date.**
About the role:
Team Leaders are required to perform the following main tasks:
Client related tasks
- Meeting potential new clients and discussing both My Supports and the NDIS
- Existing Clients
- Responsible for an overall positive relationship
- Administration of client files and all required documentation.
- Recording evidence and reporting on National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) goal progress
- Completing evidence based reports
- Managing actions requested by clients
Team Leader Tasks
- Matching support workers with clients
- Providing ongoing support to new support workers once employed.
- Conducting monthly team meetings.
- Coordinators are responsible for managing their local teams.
Please note that these are general duties only, and the successful applicant will be trained within their role.

Skills and experience
Selection Criteria:
- A high level of competency in the English language and communication skills (essential).
- Permanent residency in Australia and full working rights (essential).
- Experience from an Administration Background (essential)
- Previous experience in the disability or community sector (essential).
- A full C Class License and reliable vehicle are (essential).
- A NDIS Worker Screening Check(essential)
- Working with Children's Check (essential)
- NDIS Orientation Training Certificate (essential)
- Computer skills and a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent time management and strong organisational skills
- Mental Health & Psycho-Social Case Work Experience
- Experience finding housing solutions for people with a disability.
- Team Leader/Management skills

**Salary**: $34.00 - $37.00 per hour
