The Role

Our Penrith site is located in Greater Western Sydney on the banks of the Nepean River and manufactures a range of more than 50 milk-based products. The site currently produces around 145 million litres of product every year We proudly source milk from around 60 dairy farms across NSW and are passionate about supporting local products.

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Reliability Team Leader to join the Maintenance Team. You will report to the Engineering Reliability Leader; coaching and developing the on-shift Fitters and Electricians to deliver reliability improvements to our manufacturing assets, improving efficiency and performance with a strong emphasis on making safety and quality improvements.

Responsibilities- Managing and Leading the Trades team, being the first point of escalation for trades team with maintenance issues - supporting the troubleshooting & diagnosing of equipment, and ensuring compliance with Bega’s safety policies and site processes.- Lead and own asset maintenance plans, using the maintenance scheduling system to schedule work for your team- Leading the identification and elimination of inherent reliability problems on key lines- Performance Management for continuous improvement of team members by fostering supportive & constructive team culture- Being an active extended leadership team member to coach and direct the team through change and problem-solving; and engage towards a single vision with a safety-first culture

About you-
- Solid understanding and experience of manufacturing equipment, Asset Care practices and Asset Management Tool- Ability to balance multiple competing priorities and calmness under pressure- Leadership experience - Ability to lead a high performing and engaged trades team- Strong problem-solving skills to improve reliability of our equipment
