Working for this large government body as a Commercial Analyst will see you support the IT Shared Services commercial management function for new and existing supply contracts.

The role will work closely with members of the Contracts & Commercial team and is responsible for performing a variety of functions across the IT supply contracts, including budget management, analysis and forecasting, consumption analysis, optimisation and management, benchmarking and market analysis and reporting to advise and drive value and performance from suppliers.

**Skills and experience**
- Experience supporting IT supply chain management across a variety of process and functions, particularly in the areas of IT supply, license, support and services agreements
- Excellent communication, written and influencing skills, and the ability to adapt these to a diverse range of stakeholders and contexts.
- Ability to analyse information and present a clear, accurate summary to a variety of audiences
- Demonstrated ability to identify and engage effectively with a range of stakeholders including IT, business users, corporate legal, finance and procurement teams, and suppliers to establish collaborative trusted working relationships
- Ability to develop, manage and prioritise a plan of work in a team environment.
- Knowledge of Victorian government policies as they relate to procurement and supply chain management is desirable
