This firm completes work for public and private entities as a small team of quantity surveyors. This makes the work mixed, exciting and multifaceted.

**The Opportunity**:
You will slot into an experienced, diverse team of professional quantity surveyors. Utilising your experience in building, you will support the senior team and also take the lead in some instances with clients. You have the assistance of an accomplished leadership team and support from the wider team at all times.

**_What will you be doing..._**
- Measurement of quantities in assisting the preparation of preliminary estimates, cost plans and bills of quantities.
- Assist with the QS team in undertaking contract administration services, including measuring variations and preparing progress claims.
- Assist the Quantity Surveying team with any post-contract work as required
- To undertake work within the timeframes and complete estimates to the required accuracies
- Assist in the preparation of tax depreciation schedules and bank reports
- Assist in project cost analysis and input into the preparation of cost databases.
- Assist in Quality Assurance requirements, including documentation and assistance with internal audit requirements.
- Prepare post-contract certificates, including variation resolution

**To be considered suitable, you will need to meet the following criteria**:

- 2+ years experience as a qualified Quantity Surveyor or Estimator
- Friendly, outgoing, and approachable demeanour
- Enthusiastic, goal-orientated with a people-focused approach
- Degree qualified in Construction or Engineering
- Worked within a PQS or Consultancy environment
- Civil projects or structures experience
- Proven history in cost advisory, estimating, or bill of quantities
- You must be excited about growing your career with an organisation that has a strong trajectory
- Full working rights of Australia
