**Auvers Darling Square, a unique restaurant/café and bar trading 7 days & nights per week, located in Haymarket, is searching for a reliable, friendly & dynamic barista to supervise day-to-day Barista area operations.**

**Auvers focuses on the finer details and every product we deliver, is carefully made with passion and art to deliver great customer’s experience.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and developing Coffee recipes.
- Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs.
- Assume responsibility for all aspects of the coffee bar
- Be capable of completing all daily operations of the coffee bar
- contribute ideas as far as operational flow
- Be “on-call” with the responsibility to respond to problems or fill-in when needed
- Cultivate a professional, friendly, efficient work environment
- Ensure all projects and responsibilities are completed in a timely, efficient manner
- Greet and welcoming customers, reading, and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking orders.
- Ensuring all customers always enjoy a high level of service.
- Following restaurant opening and closing procedures to secure the venue
- Prepare beverages following recipes
- Control inventory and ordering supplies to ensure goods are well-stocked.
- Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
- Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
- Maintaining a clean work and dining.

**Key Requirements**:

- Have a passion for the hospitality industry.
- Be personable and proactive.
- Be social with friendly Can-do attitude with warm smile
- Able to gauge customers’ preferences
- At least 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Thrive under pressure.
- Strong task and time management abilities
- Barista and Specialty coffee making Knowledge.
- Have strong late art Knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with brewing equipment.
- Beverages basic knowledge.
- Friendly with positive energy
- Clean and tidy able to maintain and follow the food and safety hygiene procedures
- Current RSA.
- Available to work 4-5 days a week ((Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) are essentials)
- Have full rights to work in Australia
