**Auvers Darling Square, a unique restaurant/café and bar trading 7 days & nights per week, located in Haymarket, is searching for a reliable, innovative restaurant Supervisor to supervise day-to-day-operations, in conjunction with the manager to ensure profitability and an enjoyable dining experience.**
**Auvers focuses on the finer details and every product we deliver, is carefully made with passion and art to deliver great customer’s experience.**
**Key responsibilities**:
- Opening and closing the restaurant.
- Appointing, inducting, and mentoring new staff members.
- Scheduling shifts and assigning tables to waitstaff.
- Resolving customers' questions and grievances in a professional manner.
- Conducting payroll activities in an accurate, timely manner.
- Ensuring that the restaurant adheres to pertinent health and safety regulations.
- Control inventory and ordering supplies to ensure goods are well-stocked.
- Control ingredients, utensils, and equipment as stock is damaged or depleted.
- Recording all income and expenses and ensuring that cash registers are balanced.
- Monitoring and maintaining all daily operations of the restaurant/bar.
- Contribute ideas as far as operational flow
- Be “on-call” with the responsibility to respond to problems or fill-in when needed
- Cultivate a professional, friendly, efficient work environment
- Ensure all projects and responsibilities are completed in a timely, efficient manner
- Liaising with the manager as well as the kitchen staff managing daily reservations and menu specials.
- Creating and maintaining appropriate music & lighting levels.
**Key Requirements**:
- Have a passion for the hospitality industry.
- Be personable and proactive.
- Be social with friendly Can-do attitude with warm smile
- Able to gauge customers’ preferences
- Strong task and time management abilities
- Good math and reporting skills
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role supervising upwards of 10 staff.
- **Restaurant & Or Bar experience.**:
- Thrive under pressure.
- Barista and coffee making Knowledge.
- Classic cocktail, beers, wine, and bar knowledge.
- Friendly and team leader.
- Clean and tidy able to maintain and follow the food and safety hygiene procedures
- Current RSA.
- Available to work within opening hours, Brunch, evenings, holidays, weekends.
- Have full rights to work in Australia
