Service and Data Manager

The RoleAn opportunity has become available for a Service and Data Manager to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Provide leadership to the BreastScreen Queensland Gold Coast Health's multidisciplinary team and facilitate cooperation and interaction between all team members to promote a cohesive team environment
- Manage and oversee the provision of clinics at static, satellite and mobile services including clients requiring further assessment
- Prepare timely reports and briefings as required by State Coordination Unit and/or the Executive Director of Women, Newborn and Children Services
- Supervise and manage staff in line with quality human resource management practices

About you
**To be successful in this position you will require**:

- While not mandatory, extensive experience in financial and resource management of a multidisciplinary team would be well regarded
- Proven skills and experience in the management of the BreastScreen Queensland Register (or similar data collection process) will also be considered positively
- The position might require the operation of a government vehicle, so possession of a licence to operate a Class 'C' motor vehicle would be desirable but not mandatory
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Permanent full time
- Base salary ranging from $121 360 - $129 998 per annum

About Us
The BreastScreen Queensland service at Gold Coast Health provides high quality breast cancer screening and assessment services for women of the Gold Coast community. The Service and Data Manager role works with Medical Director and the team to deliver services weekdays in four clinics around the Gold Coast as well as supporting mobile services. The position has responsibility and accountability for the effective management of this multi-million-dollar operation. The service is delivered by a multidisciplinary team consisting of staff from Medical, Nursing, Radiography, Allied Health, Health Promotion and Administration streams.
The position reports professionally to the Manager of Business Analysis and Improvement for the Division of Women, Newborn and Children Services; but operationally to the Medical Director of BreastScreen Queensland, Gold Coast. There are three direct reports across Data Management, Administration and Health Promotion, and numerous indirect reports in those disciplines.
