Always Care Services is a privately owned company and operates as a Registered NDIS provider located in South Australia serving all Adelaide metro since 2016. We are a culturally sensitive, inclusive, and welcoming community where people with disabilities and those who are ageing, and their families are assisted in maintaining their independent lives. We are seeking a **Client Services Care Co-ordinator** who will be responsible for providing services and support to individuals with disabilities, their support givers, guardians, and other relevant stakeholders. The role of a Client Services Care Co-ordinator is to empower, assist and provide quality services and support with the individual. In this role, the Client Care Services Co-ordinator must promote, assist, and aim to achieve the following (but not limited to) for maintaining a team environment that supports positive relationships with clients and stakeholders and achieves client’s goals and ambitions.
**Reports to - Client Service Manager**
**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Meet client needs in a timely and courteous manner.
- Supervise to ensure houses are maintained and in order at all times.
- Oversee staff members are adhering to client care plans and duties.
- Examine client request to properly identify and resolve their concerns.
- Support client service efforts through program design, implementation, recovery and follow-up.
- Seeks to empower staff members and assist in resolving client related issues effectively and efficiently.
- Listen effectively, convey and receive ideas, provide information and direction to staff members in order to deliver seamless customer care to our clients.
- Seek to clarify and confirm the accuracy of their understanding of unfamiliar or vague terms and instructions.
- Ensure regular, effective communication and interaction with Always Care Services Pty Ltd.’s key stakeholders.
- Make oral and written communication clear and easy to understand so that ideas are conveyed with precision and efficiency.Promote a culture that is people-centred, ethical, professional and supports mission, vision, and values.
- Encourage a culture of striving for excellence, fostering participation, equity, inclusion, responsibility and accountability in all that we do.
- Provide clear explanation, support and guidance relating to business management.
- Communicate clearly with staff members and clients with a range of different backgrounds and disabilities.
- Proactively participate in relevant discussions, meetings, and networking.
- Proactive in providing feedback to staff members.Identify problem areas and develop solutions.
- Effectively identify and evaluate alternative solutions.
- Display flexibility in modifying decisions.
- Proactively plan and organise day-to-day activities and to maintain a clear grasp of daily tasks.
- Prioritise duties/responsibilities in a manner consistent with service and organisational objectives.
- Effectively manage tasks or program assignments including follow-up and delegation
- Share relevant information to staff members and explain rationale behind decision.
- Use strategies to promote staff morale and productivity.
**Qualifications**
**Essential-**
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Science, Health, Community Services or related field or tertiary qualifications preferred.
- Previous experience in a role of a similar nature, including responsibility for the management and operational outcomes of a program, service, or division.
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills, including human resources and quality assurance, risk management, WH&S and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practice, including the ability to work within relevant funding guidelines and legislative requirements relating to the delivery of program outcomes, safety and risk.
- Demonstrated understanding of the support needs requirements of people with different types of disabilities and communication needs.
- Current NDIS Commission Module Certificates
- Current Unrestricted Drivers Licence
- Current NDIS Worker Check
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain Criminal History Check
**Required knowledge and experience.**
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be able to critically think and self-reflect.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Liaison and negotiate with diverse range of people.
- Ensure full and timely compliance with all regulatory, accountability and contractual obligations including alignment with NDIS & NDIS Commission.
- Be flexible, willing to learn and take on new tasks, resilient and problem solve.
- Work in a team and independently and be able to use your discretion.
