Futuresleep has a proud history of producing home-grown, high quality mattresses and bedding for the Australian market for retail stores like Snooze, Fantastic Furniture, Freedom, OMF and Freedom in New Zealand.

The General Production roles involves general work around the factory where we make mattresses - we will rotate you from task to task so you learn multiple functions to help the team.

Responsibilities include:

- Follow all Company instructions relating to safety
- Undertake all work tasks in compliance with required safe work methods and policies
- Attend all relevant training as directed
- Operate a range of production-related equipment to the requisite standards and safe work procedures
- Ensure all quality control procedures are observed
- Carry out all tasks specified on the daily work schedule.
- Assist in the movement of jobs, parts and materials in and out of area when necessary.
- Check stocks of parts and raw materials in the section daily, ensuring that Production Managers are notified when items nearing depletion, to allow for re-order
- Inspect jobs and complete quality check sheets as required
- Check the section equipment daily
- Work under instruction of Supervisors/Managers
- Checking products to identify and reject defective items.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual, Permanent

**Salary**: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Crestmead, QLD 4132: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
