Sample Receipt Officer

**About the role**:
SLS is looking for an administrative office to join our Sample Reciept Team in our Melbourne NATA accredited Chemical Testing Laboratory. The position is ideally suited to a technically oriented person with great attention to detail ready to start their scientific career.
**Your main responsibilities will include**:
- Liaising with external stakeholders and clients
- Receiving and sending samples between our Sydney and Melbourne Laboratory
- Sorting samples and logging their details into the Laboratory Information Management System
- Contribute to the maintenance of laboratory quality control and quality assurance systems
**Skills and experience that may be required**:
- Ability to work in team or independently
- Ability to reason and interpret with good attention to detail and clear record keeping
- Intermediate or higher in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Full rights to work full-time in Australia
