About Citipointe Childcare At Citipointe Childcare, we provide quality Christian care and education through our Christian faith and values. We endeavour to express the love and teaching of Jesus Christ through our relationships with each other, the children we care for and their families. - Stay informed and engaged with children’s development during their foundational years. - Bring strong experience in curriculum documentation while embracing fun and creativity in your emergent curriculum approach. - Support the planning and preparation of learning materials, play equipment used in educational programs and daily group activities. - Facilitate a range of creative, physical, and social activities, including storytelling, music, craft, outdoor play, and interactive games. - Encourage positive behaviour and respectful interactions, gently guiding children to develop essential social skills and confidence in group settings. - Maintain oversight of children’s daily routines, including rest times, mealtimes, and transitions between activities, ensuring a safe and structured environment. - Help children with personal hygiene, including handwashing, toileting, and self-care, promoting independence and health awareness. - Exhibit enthusiasm and build rapport with your team, children, families, management, and fellow educators. - Communicate confidently and effectively with children, families, management, and other educators. - Follow and implement our centre’s procedures and policies, ensuring compliance with all relevant government regulations. - Actively participate in all aspects of running the centre. - Support your room team with documentation and the physical needs of early childhood education. - Uphold our Christian ethos in every aspect of your role Qualifications: - Hold an Early Childhood certificate/ diploma, or similar qualification - Minimum of 1 year experience - A current Blue Card - Current Child Protection Certificate - Current First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates - Possess a solid understanding of the NQF, EYLF, emergent curriculum, and current regulations and legislation.
