With over $2.84B of work in hand and a growing pipeline of opportunities, we are growing our Pre-Contracts team and looking for a Submissions Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping our future success.

**About the opportunity**

Reporting to the Executive General Manager Pre-Contracts, the Submissions Manager will lead a high-performing team to develop and deliver compelling, high-quality tenders that showcase Abergeldie’s expertise and unique value proposition. Working closely with technical, commercial, and senior leadership teams, you will manage the end-to-end submission process, ensuring alignment with business strategy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

This role is pivotal in articulating our value proposition, coordinating content development, and ensuring submissions highlight our expertise, innovation, and capability. You will mentor and develop a high-performing team, oversee strategic bid management, engage with internal stakeholders, and leverage digital tools and creative layouts to enhance submission quality and efficiency. Additionally, you will drive continuous improvement, refining templates, content libraries, and best practices to increase our win rate and market positioning.

**What you’ll bring to the team**
- A degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in bid strategy and tender management, overseeing complex, high-value submissions.
- Proven ability to lead and manage high-performing teams, driving continuous improvement in submission quality and efficiency.
- Exceptional writing, communication, and editing skills, with a focus on clear, persuasive content.
- Proficiency in document design tools (e.g., InDesign, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint), with the skills to create visually compelling and high-impact submissions.
- Ability to incorporate infographics, case studies, and visual storytelling, as well as leverage digital tools and design software to enhance engagement, improve readability, and differentiate Abergeldie’s proposals in a competitive market.
- Ability to distill complex technical information into compelling proposals, ensuring clarity and impact.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability, identifying key differentiators to strengthen Abergeldie’s market positioning.
