An exciting opportunity exists for an appropriately skilled Paediatrician, with expertise in Paediatric Respiratory and Sleep Medicine to join an enthusiastic team of health professionals providing excellent clinical services in Paediatrics and Neonatology at Royal North Shore Hospital.
This position will provide an interesting range of clinical, teaching and research opportunities. There will be no on-call commitments.

**Contract Type**: Sessional
**Duration**: From 1 July 2025 to end of Quinquennium, 30 June 2030
**Purpose of the Position**
Provide respiratory and/or sleep consultation if requested by another practitioner regarding Paediatric and Neonatal patients admitted/ being treated by that practitioner at Royal North Shore Hospital. In addition, consult and manage Paediatric patients attending the TB clinic at the hospital.
This care will be provided within the scope of practice granted by the NSLHD Medical and Dental Appointments Advisory Committee (MDAAC).
The position will may contribute to the teaching and training of medical students, graduates and other health care professionals and to research, evaluation and quality improvement activities within the organisation and district.
**Selection Criteria**
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with Medical Board of Australia. Applicants must have Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (FRACP) and Subspecialist recognition in Paediatric Respiratory and Sleep Medicine.

- Appointment as Respiratory and/or Sleep Physician at the Sydney Children's Hospital Network is highly desirable to facilitate access to tertiary management and care is highly desirable.
- Appropriate experience to practice as a Senor Medical Practitioner in Paediatric Respiratory and Sleep Medicine.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Evidence of and commitment to lead and work within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Evidence of and commitment to medical education including the delivery of teaching programs
- Evidence of and commitment to quality improvement methodologies
