An exciting opportunity exists for an appropriately skilled Obstetrician/Gynaecologist to join the dynamic multidisciplinary Departments of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Royal North Shore Hospital.

**Duration**: from 1 July 2025 to Remainder of Quinquennium, 30 June 2030
**About the Role**
Royal North Shore Hospital provides comprehensive care to women of Northern Sydney and is a major referral and tertiary teaching hospital in New South Wales. This VMO position will provide a reproductive endocrinology clinic service aimed at adult transgender and fertility health as well as support the NSLHD Menopause Hub based at RNSH. Participation in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology on-call roster is expected.
**Purpose of the Position**
To become a member of the Departments of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and the wider multidisciplinary team within RNSH (including nursing and midwifery staff, and emergency, medical and surgical doctors).
Provide clinical management and treatment of patients under your care in a Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) facility or service. This care will be provided within the scope of practice endorsed by the NSLHD Medical and Dental Appointments Advisory Committee (MDAAC). The position will provide clinical consultation services within NSLHD and will contribute to the teaching and training of medical students, graduates and other health care professionals and to research, evaluation and quality improvement activities within the District.
**Selection Criteria**
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Applicants must have Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) or recognition as a Specialist by the Medical Board of Australia. Applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship within 3 months may be considered.

- Appropriate experience to practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with an interest in complex benign Gynaecology

- Evidence of and commitment to medical education including medical students, Junior Medical Officers and RANZCOG trainees.
- Evidence of and commitment to quality improvement methodologies.
