**How you'll make an impact**

The Business Finance Credit Department is responsible for managing the credit quality of the Bank's business lending portfolio.

As a Commercial Credit Manager, you will be responsible for the review, challenge and decisioning (within delegation) of credit submissions as submitted by the 1st line, ensuring that deals are decisioned within our SLA's and that all deal data is accurately captured. You will also be expected to provide expert advice on; loan structuring, aspects of cash-flow lending, appropriate lending covenants, restructures and workouts as well as annual reviews and any other aspect of managing credit in the Business Finance team which contributes to the protection of the assets of AMP Bank Limited.

You'll make an impact by:

- Understanding and observing the Bank's policies and procedures when assessing loans for approval, recommendation or decline.
- Manage "workout" files as allocated to you by the Head of Credit.
- Maintain credit quality standards expected of all team members.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement and cost reduction.
- Provide great customer service to our internal and external business partners by making pro-active phone calls to discuss the assessment or where more information is required and to offer solutions if the loan does not fit policy (if appropriate).
- Work with the Head of Credit and the Portfolio Analytics team to determine the correct amount of Specific Provisions needed across the Business Finance portfolio.

**What you will bring to the team**
- Extensive experience in a commercial cash-flow lending role with experience in analysing complex company structures, financials, cashflow forecasts and security position.
- Previously held a delegated lending authority (minimum $2.0m)
- Sound knowledge of legal entities, lending structures and statutory/regulatory requirements.
- Work both independently and as an effective team member
- Commitment to owning outcomes, problem solving and teamwork.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to various levels of management and business partners effectively.
