We’re looking for Care workers in the **Regional South of Victoria**, suburbs including **Inverloch, Bass Coast and Wonthaggi.** At this point in time, we are only seeking care workers for** casual hours** and who have a Certificate III in Individual Support or higher, or who have completed their first year or nursing.

Supporting our elders in their homes means you are one-on-one with clients working individually. You could help with personal care or domestic duties in the morning or evening, or keep clients connected to their community through activities they love, like walking, gardening, going out for a coffee or lunch, and transporting them to appointments. Generally, you will visit 2-4 client per day, approximately 1-3 hours per visit.

**To best support our clients, we’re looking for people with**:

- A genuine passion for caring and ability to build rapport with older Victorians
- Able to work independently
- A reliable car and valid driver’s license to drive between client's homes and drive clients as required
- Respect for all, regardless of background, gender, age, religion, race, or sexual orientation
- The annual flu immunisation and a willingness to obtain each year to help keep our clients safe
- Ability to provide or obtain a suitability police check outcome
- Ability to supply or obtain current CPR (HLTAID 009) and First Aid Training Certificates (HLTAID 011)
- A Qualification such as Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Disability Support, or similar. If you have finished your first year of a nursing qualification, that will count as a qualification.
