**About the Resort**:
We are Australia’s only theme park resort, located in Main Beach, our hotel boasts beautiful views of the Broadwater, and is just a few minutes’ walk from the Spit.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the reception desk, ensuring that our Front Office team exceeds our guest expectations.

**Duties**:

- Maintain a high presence on our reception desk and assist the team to process check in’s and check out’s
- Assist the Front Office Manager in training and development of team members and ensure procedures are adhered to
- Respond and recover to guest complaints and feedback
- Assist and maintain effective communication between all departments
- Act as the first point of contact for daily operations within the Resort
- Cash and credit card handling
- Attend to all first aid incidents and complete reports accordingly
- Show flexibility and commitment to hours of work based on the business requirements

**Skills and Experience**:

- Available for an immediate start
- Demonstrated experience in a Front Office team within a busy hotel or resort essential
- Must be a highly organised self-starter with the ability to effectively manage priorities
- Thorough understanding of Front Office operations and night audit processes essential
- High level of computer literacy with Opera PMS experience desirable
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrated high level of decision making skills and experience
- Self-driven with a strong background in leading a team
- Advanced First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation certificate essential, or be willing to obtain upon commencement
