Reporting to the Project Management Centre of Excellence Leader, the role of Program Manager is responsible for leading and delivering projects, this includes leading Project Managers, Scrum Masters and our Agile Teams who are delivering key changes across various channels in an Agile project working environment.
The role is responsible for the management of programs/projects end to end from requirements through to delivery. Including scheduling, planning, tracking of cost, time and quality, following Agile and Hybrid project methodologies. Accountabilities of the Program Manager include (not limited to);
- Manage the Program scope, budget, schedule, risks/issues, resourcing, work prioritisation, project inter-dependencies, stakeholders/suppliers, and communications
- Manage program integration activities across all streams (including outsourced / contracted work) within the Program
- Work with our Senior Leadership Team to ensure governance of the Program throughout the program/project lifecycle, supports the success of the Program and its projects.
- Oversee and support Project Managers, Scrum Masters and the Digital Team with their work
- Maintain regular communications and appropriate engagements with all Program stakeholders to ensure buy-in and commitment.
- Work closely with EnergyAustralia Procurement and Vendor Management teams to source services, such that those services represent value for money
- Facilitate and host Program ceremonies including Quarterly Planning, Scrum of Scrums, Fortnightly Showcases.
**Be Impactful when you are applying**
- Experience working in an Agile environment, managing Agile Teams and technical resources
- Proven ability to lead multiple squads working across many different initiatives simultaneously
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Program Management working with large/complex programs
- Extensive stakeholder management experience with the demonstrated ability for being a trusted advisor and bringing key delivery groups together, along with the ability to negotiate and influence at a high level.
- Tertiary qualifications in Project or Business management.
- Accreditation from PMI (PMP) or AIPM (CPM or CPPD), or equivalent.
- Business acumen to identify opportunities, develop compelling business cases and drive benefits which affect the bottom line.
- Highly self-motivated & strong organisational skills.
