The acquisition of Citigroup Australia’s consumer business supports NAB's strategic growth ambition for Personal Banking, helping the bank achieve its goals faster as it drives toward being Australia's best Personal Bank. NAB has mobilised an integration team, Project Edge, to support the transition of Citigroup Australia into NAB's Personal Banking Division and integration of both businesses.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director, Management Assurance join our fast paced and performance driven Project Edge Execution & Delivery team in Personal Banking.

This role is a key engagement point on first line control design and development, compliance and risk management, and delivery support and assurance to the New Business Build & Integration team, Project Edge.

Key responsibilities are to:

- Support the ongoing integration of Citi consumer into NAB & implementation of business strategies through expert risk management advice and delivery
- Be the point of contact for first line risk management activities for the NBBI project team
- Strengthen program governance and management strategies to reduce overall program risk exposure
- Identify program-wide risks and issues and design mitigation strategies (where appropriate) to bring risk levels within appetite. Where possible, quantify risk exposure to determine proportionate response
- Design controls for the new unsecured lending platform being developed
- Deliver risk profiles for LD2, New Business Build, and Wealth as well as assess delivered impacts to NAB’s impacted Risk Profiles (e.g. PB, B&PB) to ensure risks remain within appetite. This will include monitoring of program delivery and build risks
- Ensure prospective risk appetite breaches, material risks, loss events and/or deviations from the risk management framework are escalated on a timely basis and addressed

**What you will bring**:

Resilient and flexible you are tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline and can demonstrate the following experience and knowledge:

- Substantial experience in operational risk management and compliance, with experience in large change programs preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of risk management and compliance disciplines
- Proven ability to perform in a high performing team
- Practical approach to solving complex issues with strong commercial acumen - this program is fast-paced and dynamic and therefore lateral thinking is often required
- Excellent time management and ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to manage deliverables and drive completion dates from internal services and stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
