Iolar Operational Services (IOS) is seeking to engage an individual to work as a Transfer Station Attendant at the Coochiemudlo Island Recycling and Waste Centre (RaWC) within the Redland City area. IOS manage and operate the RaWC on behalf of Council.

**Preferred skills include**:

- Waste management experience desirable.
- Workplace Health and Safety knowledge and experience
- Computer/tablet and mobile phone literate.
- Good customer service and experience with dealing with challenging situations.
- Willingness and capability to work outside and undertake labouring activities.
- Preferred local resident.

**Location**:Coochiemudlo Island

**Job Type**: Casual.

**Days of Work**: Wednesday, Friday to Monday every fortnight.

**Hours of Work**: 4 hours / day

**Pay Rates**:starting from: $35.46 / hr, in accordance with the Waste Management Award and relevant classification.

**Contract length**: Fixed term to 31st October 2027

**Expected Start Date**: December 2024

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $35.46 per hour

Schedule:

- Weekend availability
