Key Responsibilities:

The role of a Store Person involves receiving, issuing, storing and transferring goods around the Resort. This includes inspecting incoming merchandise for damage and ensuring correct storing of items. Additionally, maintaining stock levels by issuing items to other departments is an essential part of this role.

  • Ensure the timely receipt and issue of goods
  • Conduct regular inspections of stored items to ensure they are not damaged
  • Issue items to other departments as required
  • Assist with deliveries and unloading/reloading delivery vehicles
  • Complete all necessary paperwork including con notes, SDS, Weight declaration, Pallet receipts and food safety temperature documents
  • Participate in monthly stock takes to maintain accurate inventory levels

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will require intermediate computer skills, the ability to thrive under pressure, work well with a diverse team and attend/speak at meetings. A current Australian driver's license, forklift license and MR license are also required. Experience in inventory management and hotel/resort environment is preferred.
