After Dark Canopy Cleaners is a Commercial Canopy, Exhaust Duct + Fan Cleaning Specialist. We are a family-owned and run business with over 20 years of experience. Our focus is on customer satisfaction and confidence.

Our clientele includes; hotel pub chains, restaurants, childcare + aged care organisations, schools, wineries, burger chains, pizza shops and the list goes on.

We are seeking a self-motivated and highly driven canopy cleaner to join a small but growing friendly team. Experience is not necessary, as we will train you from the ground up.

The base is in Heidelberg, however, the work will be all over metropolitan Melbourne, and as the name suggests, we do a lot of our work in the evening/overnight.

**Responsibilities of the Role**:

- Cleaning of oil and grease build-up inside the exhaust canopies and fans in commercial kitchens (usually means getting your hands dirty).
- Cleaning the exhaust fans on roofs.
- So if you are not confident about going up on ladders or being on roofs, please don't apply
- Looking for someone who leads by example, can follow procedures and systems and will communicate respectfully with fellow staff and clients.
- Must have great customer service skills.

The role would suit previous experience as a supervisor or someone in hospitality (ie kitchen hand). Also for someone who has experience in construction, building, scaffolding (ie heights labourer) or previous experience as a roofer, painter, glazier, lighting technician, window cleaner, commercial cleaner etc

**Requirements of the Role**:

- Must be confident working at heights, on roofs and ladders.
- Must be physically fit.
- Available to work evenings/overnight.
- Comfortable working in greasy/oily conditions.
- Living in Heidelberg or the surrounding region.
- Must have a current Australian driver's licence.
- Must have own transportation to get to the base for the start of each shift.
- Must be an Australian resident/citizen.
- No students or other visa-holder applicants will be considered

Please note: most of the work is done in the evening/ overnight. But not exclusively, so the applicant must be available for all shifts, ranging from early Monday morning to Friday evening/night. Approximately 38 hours per week. Shifts are usually around 8 -10 hours.

We are seeking someone for full-time role responsibilities. Paid at a casual rate. IE 25% extra on an hourly rate + Shift rate.

Starting salary package is $1400-$1550 per week for 38 standard hrs. Inclusive Superannuation.
