**About the Role**:
The role is responsible for ensuring electricity meter data related functions are processed and actioned in accordance with shareholder, regulatory and customer expectations. The role is also responsible for ensuring the integrity of meter and standing data is maintained in a timely manner by addressing business and market systems exceptions and minimising the use of substituted data.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract role.
**What you’ll deliver**:
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve issues relating to the efficient & effective processing of electricity meter data and market transactions to ensure on time collection, validation and provision of data to the market and for billing.
- Includes a detailed knowledge of IT Market systems, functionality and exception resolution related to meter configuration, standing data, editing & configuration maintenance, NMI Ref and task monitoring.
- Participate and contribute to continuous improvement process.
- Identify trends and root causes of standing & meter data exceptions and substitution that impact on compliance, measured MDP performance, network billing and retailer disputes.
- Possess and maintain a thorough understanding of rules and procedures as it relates to the collection and provision of meter data. This includes B2B procedures, Metrology Procedures part B, Service Level Procedures: Metering data provision services & procedures, Meter data delivery calendars, meter data file format specification and CATS procedures.
- Provide quality customer service, interface with internal and external stakeholders (such as retailers, AEMO and customers) to negotiate and resolve customer enquiries, complaints and EWOV referrals promptly, accurately and effectively in line with established policies and procedures.
**To succeed in this role, you’ll have**:
- Previous experience handling customer escalations, within the electricity distribution industry
- Working knowledge of IT systems including MTS, IEE, CIS OV, UIQ, FCS, MST, Web Methods, SAP-ISU and associated end to end processes and procedures
- Knowledge of the Regulations relating to Business to Business (B2B) processes, Meter Data Accreditation and MSATS procedures and in particular Metrology & Service Level Procedures
- Previous experience working with meter data preferred
