**Recruiting for Support Workers all over the Sunshine Coast**

We are looking for dedicated Support Workers to join our caring and dynamic team and provide high quality in-home support services to our valued customers. **About us**:
Across Australia Just Better Care provides in-home aged care and disability support services, supporting people to live independently. For over 15 years, we have been supporting older people, and people living with disability, to live independently in their own homes and stay connected to their local community.

Our friendly, compassionate and experienced team makes this possible.

**Duties and responsibilities may include**:

- Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance
- Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
- Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment including: standing or walking frames, wheelchairs, manual or electric hoists, sliding sheets or moving boards, hearing aids and other physical aids
- Supporting customers with complex and/or challenging needs
- Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
- Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required

**What you will need**:

- Criminal Record Check
- Proof of Vaccination (where relevant) i.e. COVID-19 vaccination certificate
- Disability Workers Screening Clearance (NDIS Worker Screening Check or Yellow Card)
- Current First Aid certificate/CPR
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Reliable, registered and insured vehicle
- Smart phone with internet access
- Current Working with Children Check Preferred (Blue card)
- Minimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services (preferred)
