**Aged/Disability Support Workers - Sunshine Coast, QLD**
- Several casual Home Care Worker positions_

Offering Disability and Aged Care Services across the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay regions. A small local business and are the region’s premier support care agency offering compassionate, flexible, responsive in-home respite and personal care. Committed to enhancing clients’ independence and quality of life by providing a number of support services suitable for different levels of need.

**Remuneration**:SCHADS Award Home Care Worker Casual

**Qualifications & experience**
- Minimum Certificate III Disability, Individual Support **or equivalent**:

- COVID19 Vaccination
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card - P)
- National Police Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Roadworthy, registered, and insured vehicle
- Excellent communication skills
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Department of Health COVID-19 Infection Control Module

**Highly Desirable**
- Manual Handling experience including hoisting
- Midazolam and Epilepsy Management
- Experience working with people with Dementia Care
- Experience working with people with diabetes

**Tasks & responsibilities**

These will vary from client to client but will include:

- Assistance with personal care tasks to support health, hygiene and well being
- Supporting clients to access the community for shopping or to attend medical/other appointments
- A range of household tasks including, meal preparation, light domestic assistance, shopping
- Social Support to get out and about and access community activities
- Companionship
