Lifest HealthCare is a registered NDIS provider, working closely with participants, families and other stakeholders to offer unique, personalized health and support care to people with disabilities. We provide compassionate care delivered with integrity and respect to ensure our participants receive the best possible care and support to improve their quality of life.

**About the role**:
We are currently searching for disability support workers who will be tasked to provide direct care to a participant who displays challenging behaviours and mental health concerns.

Hourly rates will be negotiated based on qualifications and experience.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Experience working with challenging or complex behaviours (highly desirable)
- Experience in managing and deescalating situations (highly desirable)
- Experience in mental health (highly desirable)
- A high level of physical fitness
- Certificate 2 in Health Services or Certificate 3 in Disability or Community Services or other relevant qualification or willing to complete
- At least five years of lived experience
- Valid Driver’s License and a confident driver
- CPR and First Aid or willing to obtain
- NDIS New worker screening card/ Yellow card exemption or willing to obtain

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: From $35.00 per hour

- Shift work

- Sunshine Coast, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
- Overnight Shift (preferred)
