**About the Role**

The current positions offered are only open to Female support workers who meet all criteria.

We have an exciting opportunity for current Disability Support Workers to provide in home support and community access to participants living in their own homes across Brisbane and closer regions. Our participants need help with light domestic duties, meal preparation, personal care, transporting to medical appointments, outing and most importantly, companionship.

**About You**

You are reliable with a good work ethic. You pride yourself on providing personal care with dignity and respect. You understand the importance of providing individualised support within a home environment. Can adapt to different situations? Think outside the box to solve problems?

**We have morning, night, and sleep over shifts available from Monday to Sunday.**

Shifts available**:Mon - Friday - between 8am to 4pm. Weekend between 8am -3pm**

**Main responsibilities include**
- Personal care: grooming, dressing, toileting, and showering
- Domestic duties including meal preparation, shopping, housekeeping, and cleaning
- Assists participants with medications
- Administering Medication
- AUSLAN
- Behaviour of Concern
- High intensity support activities
- Bowel and Catheter care
- Behaviour support for client with autistic and mental health
- Provide community inclusion and support participants to develop relationships and interests through access to community activities and services.

**Your skills and experience include**:

- Prior experience supporting clients with disabilities highly desirable
- Relevant nationally recognised qualification highly desirable
- Must have a QLD driver's licence and own reliable transport
- Current Paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Experience in managing CPAP and Catheter care
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain before employment)
- NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module (or willing to obtain before employment)
- COVID 19 Infection Control certificate (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Full Australian working rights
- Smart phone with internet access
- Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required
