**About the Role**
- Ensuring the activities of the School are operated effectively and efficiently, providing a quality service to the students and staff.
- Producing research and scholarship that informs learning and teaching, and curriculum innovation and development.
- Providing administrative support to the Head of School and other academic staff
- Provision of field education liaison duties to students undertaking their practicum placement and experience.

**Selection Criteria**
- Hold a PhD qualification in relevant Social Work discipline.
- Lecturing and teaching experience (3+ years experience would be an advantage).

Committed Christian, involved in a local congregation.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching at a tertiary level, learning, scholarship and research, including curriculum development and modification.
- An understanding of current and emerging trends in Social Work Education and training.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students; ability to communicate and work effectively and cooperatively with colleagues.
- Technological literacy and experience in developing online communication tools and previous experience in online education is desirable.
- Demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity to diversity and ability to work with students, staff, and administrators, including pastoral skills in mentoring staff and supporting students.

This position will commence in Macquarie Park and is scheduled to relocate to our new campus in Pennant Hills mid-2025.
