About the Role
As the Marketing and Events Officer you will:
Assist in maintaining the school's brand, producing marketing collateral, design templates and handbooks in Canva, ensuring all materials adhere to high-quality standards and align with the visual identity guide.
Compile and distribute the fortnightly parent newsletter, managing the proofing process and promoting its circulation.
Manage content and updates for the school's website to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
Maintain a proactive and consistent social media and Daymap (where relevant) presence to promote the school and to communicate responsively with the wider community. This includes creating daily content, overseeing permissions, and moderating pages.
Provide event support to the Marketing Manager for key events, including Graduation, Academic Awards, Open Day and Farm Day. This includes consulting with key internal and external stakeholders to plan and deliver creative strategies for these events, as well as on-the-ground support.
Fulfill internal requests for photography and videography covering regular school events.
Generate and supervise content for the school's TV screens as part of the school's communications strategy.
Assist in obtaining quotes and purchasing branded marketing collateral in line with government guidelines and departmental policies.
Establish and maintain professional relationships with staff and external clients to ensure the success of school marketing and events, and the promotion of the school as a key priority.
