**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
As a Technical Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the success of our Mining, Utilities & Telecommunications portfolio. This hands-on position combines technical leadership, project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring responsibilities. You will ensure our field delivery teams operate with excellence, safety, and innovation while supporting project managers, engineering teams, and our valued customers.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide high-level technical support and coordinate commissioning across multiple projects.
- Conduct site audits, technical investigations, and ensure design and compliance alignment.
- Assist estimating teams in reviewing tender documentation and conceptual designs.
- Develop solutions that meet client specs and Australian standards in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Carry out factory and on-site commissioning, troubleshooting, and field support.
- Lead and mentor junior technicians and integration specialists.
- Ensure HSEQ and contractual compliance through effective on-site supervision.
- Provide ongoing remote and on-site support for field commissioning teams.
- Act as a technical advisor to project managers on design and implementation matters.
- Build lasting relationships with customers to promote future project specification and repeat business.
- Maintain Nominee status on the WA electrical license and champion regulatory compliance.
**ABOUT YOU**:
- Trade level qualifications in Electrotechnology.
- Relevant experience in a leadership or senior technical role.
- Strong knowledge of Australian electrical and HSEQ standards.
- Exceptional problem-solving, organisational, and team leadership skills.
- Ability to foster positive relationships with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
- WA Electrical License.
