Construction Coordinator

You will report to the Team Leader, work closely with the MJH construction team and be a valued member of MJH NSW/ACT. The key focus of this role is to provide an exceptional customer experience to our clients throughout their exciting journey building their new home. More specifically, you will:

- Be the critical conduit between the client and business from release of the ACC/File to Site through to completion of the home handover
- Assist in ensuring the project is delivered within cost, quality and time restraints
- Coordinate and manage respective jobs to ensure delivery whilst providing all customers with an unbeatable customer service experience including dispute resolution and negotiation skills
- Liaise with the Area/Construction Managers to resolve the more complex construction, drafting, estimating, or project delivery issues for customers during the construction phase
- Manage all customer disputes and/or contract disputes in the first instance in line with the NXT Building Group Values
- Obtaining occupation certificates and final inspection results
- Establish, promote and maintain positive links between the Construction Team and internal departments
- Help to ensure that the administrative tasks meet each critical deadline to keep the clients’ administrative process on track within the specified timeframe

- Previous experience in a customer service role and a commitment to providing all customers with a professional and unbeatable customer experience
- The ability to work under pressure successfully managing multiple clients and prioritising tasks
- Ideally some knowledge of the residential construction industry (building your own home etc)
- Ideally have ability to read plans, knowledge of council function and understanding of contracts and basic estimating and construction knowledge
- Intermediate knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
