We are offering an opportunity for the right Support Workers to work with our participants in the Marrickville and Inner West area. You must have a genuine care and interest for people with disability and an understanding of the impact of mental illness on a persons life. You will need to be patient, reliable, understanding and have a positive outlook. A willingness to travel to shifts is a must.

**Clear English is essential**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support access the community
- Support with daily activities
- Interacting to keep participants engaged
- Track and document an individual’s progress through detailed note keeping

**Skills & Experience**
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Experience working with mental health
- Personal care experience
- A genuine care and interest in supporting people with disability
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with the participant and his family.

Please note: Mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations are required for this position, in accordance with relevant Public Health Orders. Evidance will be requested.

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Marrickville, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
