**Eligibility**

**Division Responsibilities**
The Regulatory Practice and Support Division provides operational regulatory policy advice
and specific support services to the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) and the Office
of Drug Control (ODC) which together comprise the Health Products Regulation Group
(HPRG). These services ensure efficient, best practice regulatory operations.
**Branch Responsibilities**
The Regulatory Engagement Branch provides a range of policy advice, communication and
support services for the TGA and the ODC. These include the delivery of regulatory guidance
and education materials, planning and performance reporting, parliamentary and media
responses, external events and webinar programs, library services, the scheduling of
substances for the Poisons Standard, TGA Cost Recovery operations and committee support.
The Branch is also responsible for managing TGA and ODC websites, social media,
stakeholder engagement with international regulators and the provision of a dedicated
enquiries help desk for the TGA.
**Section Responsibilities**
The Collaboration Services Section manages the development and publication of external
plans and reports for the TGA and ODC. The section also supports TGA and ODC's
interactions with the Minister's Office, the media, contributions to Australian Government
collaboration activities and committee support to internal and external committees
including TGA’s statutory and advisory committees.
**Key Responsibilities**
This position resides within the Collaboration Services Section (CSS) of the TGA and has
primary responsibility of working in a small team to assist in the timely drafting, proofing
and editing of accurate responses to a range of requests including media, ministerial
correspondence, submissions, and briefs, prior to Executive consideration to ensure they
meet ministerial and executive requirements for style, preference and content. The key
responsibilities of the role are to assist in the day-to-day management and co-ordination of:
- Incoming Media Requests to HPRG
- Parliamentary documents including briefs, correspondence, and preparation for
Senate Estimates
- Co-ordination of cross branch and divisional items including the ANAO annual audit
work plan for HPRG, collating input for anonymous reporting for TGA and ODC’s
websites and input into the Department’s Annual Report and Portfolio Budget
Statements
- Assistance in preparing corporate reporting such as TGA’s Business Plan and
Performance Report.

purpose

- Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
- Administration and coordination experience, preferably in a Commonwealth
environment

- Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, time management and communication skills.
