**About the role**

Nick Evans Tennis x The Ark Haberfield is seeking an experienced High Performance Tennis Coach to join our team in Haberfield. This is a multi-faceted role, with an immediate start. You will be responsible for providing high-intensity coaching sessions for our clients, who are some of the nation's top performing junior female athletes.

This position requires a high-energy individual with a growth mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and strong passion for player development.

**Essential skills**

Extensive experience working with elite junior athletes as well as player program management.

Proven experience in coaching and mentoring elite high performance junior athletes, including a strong knowledge of the Australian Junior Tour and the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors.

A strong playing background, ideally formally ATP / WTA ranked, or high level NCAA (DI).

Must be a Tennis Australia coach member & have a current Working with Children Check, Police Check and First Aid certification.

**What you'll be doing**

Deliver highly engaging and high intensity coaching and hitting sessions for our junior athletes, including mandatory physical and dynamic warm ups.

Liaise with management to understand the players key development priorities and training goals, ensuring to follow each individual player's periodised plan.

Assist with developing high performance squad programs and new player programs.

Strong communication, sales and interpersonal skills are a must.

Attend national ranking tournaments and ITF events to support players when required.

**Hours of Work**:
30-38 hours per week, with weekend work required.

The coach must be reliable, enthusiastic, willing to learn and grow and motivated to build and grow relationships with all students, parents and stakeholders.
