Our surgery includes two treatment rooms, reception and sterilisation room all which offer our patients a comprehensive range of dental treatments from smile enhancements to routine family check-ups.
Position Overview:
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Dental Practice Manager with Dental Nurse experience to join our small dynamic team.

A Day in the Life:
The Dental Nurse role here at Haberfield Dental Practice is multifactorial requiring mainly nursing skills with organised front desk management and exceptional friendly patient communications.
General nursing skills including; patient care and attentiveness building positive relationships, treatment room set up and pack down, sterilisation duties, assisting Dentist for patient treatments, stock management, general tidying and upkeep of the surgery.
Front desk management including; answering phone call queries and scheduling appointments, greeting and welcoming patients, sending out patient communications for bookings and recording all notes with any patient contact, follow through on patient specialist referrals, updating medical history forms, maintaining accurate patient information with confidentiality, sending and receieving specialist referrals, managing patient payments and settling daily accounts.
Basic qualifications:
The successful applicant must be -
- Experienced in Dental Assisting during dental treatment
- Experienced in using the Dental 4 Windows program.
- Knowledgeable in infection control protocols.
- Genuinely interested in all areas of dentistry with a willingness to learn new skills.
- Able to understand the importance of putting the patient needs first.
- Able to work independently and show initiative when required.
- Extremely organised with an ability to multi-task.
- An exceptional communicator with great customer service skills.
- Able to contribute to the culture of the practice by working collaboratively as a team player.
- Punctual, flexible, reliable and caring.
- Polished and professional in their personal presentation.
- Positive and proactive.
This part time position is for 3-4 days per week, intially Wednesday to Friday, with a scope to increase hours.
Working hours are from 8.30am - 5.30pm, however these hours may vary, so flexibility is paramount.
Trainee nurses are welcome to apply.
