Upon successful completion you can expect to have a nationally recognised **Certificate III in Dental Assisting** and be equipped with industry experience to step into any clinic. Future career pathways include Dental Assistant, Dental Radiographer or specialist.

**Duties Include**:

- Offer patient care leading up to and during the appointment
- Provide chair side support during oral procedures
- Assist to explain treatment procedures and after care to patients
- Sterilise dental instruments
- Prepare equipment for appointments
- Record and maintain patient information

**About You**:

- Can build rapport with a variety of individuals
- Strong work ethic; reliable and punctual
- Works effectively as part of a team and under limited supervision
- Efficient organisational and time management skills
- Comfortable working under pressure

**Role Requirements**:

- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical assessment
- Covid-19 vaccinations, including booster vaccinations (or willing to obtain)
- Up to date immunisation records
- National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft packages
