**Casual position: Clerical Officer.**

**About the Role**

In the role of Clerical Officer, your primary responsibility will be to deliver a comprehensive and customer-focused service across Administration Department, with a particular emphasis on administrative tasks related to Pre-admissions.

**Your duties will encompass but are not restricted to**:

- Ensuring patients possess the appropriate level of health fund coverage.
- Take payments of any out of pockets fee from patients.
- Balance and close cash drawers at the end of shift.
- Provide timely and accurate information to the Clinical Team.

- **Problem-Solving Aptitude**: You display an effective ability to solve problems.

**Desirable Qualities**:

- **Expanded Medical Terminology Knowledge**: A deeper understanding is always an advantage.
- **Health Insurance Criteria Awareness**: Knowledge of various health insurance criteria is a plus.
- **Meditech System Familiarity**: If you are acquainted with Meditech, that’s a bonus

**Remuneration**: On offer is base hourly rate of $32.83 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
