**Salary - **Clerk Grade 7/8: $106,025 - $117,363, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
**Your role**
An exciting opportunity exists for a Business Officer to provide high quality financial analysis and timely advice to the Strategy & Governance division of Corrective Services.
**What you’ll do**
Reporting to the Senior Business Manager, this role will often see you working closely with the other managers, including the Directors and is a great opportunity for you to gain plenty of exposure to the entire Strategy & Governance division.
Your contribution across various projects and your input towards continuous improvement ideas will be required at times.
This is a small friendly close nit team, who are focused on developing a culture of performance, achieving results and who are innovative in their approach.
**What we’re looking for**
- A background in Finance and accounting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and high level of professionalism.
- Experience in dealing with sensitive and confidential matters and details.
- The ability to self-manage and prioritise tasks to meet goals and deadlines.
- Be a self-starter, show initiative and be highly motivated.
- Innovation to continuously improve process and efficiency.
- Persuasive communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills with demonstrated ability in influencing outcomes across stakeholders.
- Accurate, efficient and high level of performance in all work areas.
**Essential requirements**
Current driver’s licence and ability and willingness to drive throughout Sydney.
